Preloved FAQ

PRODUCT CONDITION

We’ve used the following terms to describe the condition of our preloved items, these are:

Very good condition - The garment is in very good condition, it has been extremely well maintained and looks nearly new.

Good condition - An item which has been used frequently but has still been well maintained.

Fair condition - A garment which has been well loved and has some defects, which will be outlined clearly in the individual product descriptions.




PRELOVED FAQ’S

1. WHAT IS THE 9 LIVES SALE?

We’re selling preloved garments from our loan clothing collection, which have been well cared for and are ready to move onto their next wardrobe.

2. WHY 9 LIVES?

Just like cats, we believe that garments have at least 9 lives. We wanted to highlight the importance of making all garments last as long as possible, by selling our loaned items on to new owners.

3. DO I NEED TO HAVE AN ONLOAN SUBSCRIPTION TO PURCHASE AN ITEM?

Anyone is welcome to purchase one of our preloved pieces, we just want them to go to a good new home.

If you’d like to find out more about loaning then click "THE CLOTHES" at the top of the Onloan website to create an account and start browsing. You can select a plan and then the items you like and start loaning straight away.

4. DO YOU POST OUTSIDE OF THE UK?

Yes we do but the cost will vary depending on the location, to get a price drop us an email at hello@onloan.co. Please note that we can only offer free returns to customers within the UK.

5. WHICH DELIVERY SERVICE DO YOU USE?

We use 2nd Class Royal Mail delivery, including free postage on orders over £140 and free returns via the Collect Plus service.

6. WHAT TYPE OF PACKAGING DO YOU USE?

We use strong brown paper mailing bags (which can be recycled), with 2 adhesive strips for returns (if needed).

7. WHAT IS YOUR RETURNS POLICY?

We offer free returns on every order within 30 days of purchase.

8. CAN I BUY AN ITEM AS A GIFT?

Definitely, our preloved items make perfect gifts! Just get in touch to let us know who it’s for and we will include a gift note.

10. I’M LOANING AN ITEM AT THE MOMENT AND I WOULD LOVE TO PURCHASE IT, IS THIS POSSIBLE?

11. WHAT DO YOU DO WITH MY DATA?

We may send you marketing emails if you have given your consent to do so. We also use behavioural data to better understand our users and to improve our services. Our privacy policy has more details on how we use your data. If you have any questions, please email us.
